Kelly McGuire has worked with domestic abuse since 2001, initially as a treatment manager and national trainer for the (then) National Probation Service’s Community Domestic Violence Programme (CDVP). She then developed and managed to ‘full’ Respect accreditation a domestic violence prevention programme (DVPP) for Relate Cymru before becoming the training manager for Respect, for whom she remains an approved trainer.
Kelly has also developed a perpetrator programme which is delivered in a number of locations across the UK and has also been commissioned as the National programme for Ireland.
She is currently a Practice advisor to the Drive Project (Respect and SafeLives), piloting bespoke interventions with high risk domestic abuse perpetrators and their families.
