Domestic abuse is an urgent crisis in society today. Statistics show that an estimated 2.3 million people experience it each year – and we know the true figure is much higher, as so many people never tell anyone what they’re going through.
Over the past 25 years, Respect has pioneered the design and development of interventions for perpetrators of domestic abuse so that they are stopped, held to account and given the chance to change. We provide national helplines and work alongside frontline services to ensure safe and effective work with people causing harm – because we can’t end domestic abuse without tackling the root cause.
