Lucy Christopher has been a professional fundraiser for 15 years and has worked for a range of social justice, youth, disability and arts organisations. She is passionate about
reducing inequalities and raising money for causes which enable people to
thrive.

She has worked as a sole fundraiser and as part of a larger team, and
has experience of all areas of fundraising with specialisms in trusts and
foundations and corporate fundraising, having managed major partnerships with
companies including John Lewis and Standard Life.  

She was drawn to Respect's pioneering and ambitious mission, and will support it by enhancing the organisation's fundraising activities across various income streams.

She is also the Treasurer for the Scottish Drugs Forum and a volunteer mentor with MCR Pathways. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, reading and seeing live music and comedy. She is a writer of fiction and non-fiction and is currently working on a memoir about her musician father.
