Leila joined Respect in 2026 as a Senior Practice Advisor in the Drive project.

Leila is a forensic psychology post grad and has worked in the domestic abuse sector for over 10 years, initially working in the criminal justice system facilitating offender behaviour programmes.

Leila has worked within the 3rd sector working with those who cause harm, quality assuring and supporting the development of Respect accredited programmes.

Leila worked within a Drive delivery site, as a case manager, advanced practitioner and team leader and is passionate about the work Drive can achieve in reducing harm.

Leila brings expertise in criminal justice system and the Drive model.  Leila is driven by a need to hold those that cause harm to account, as well as address the contributing factors to harmful behaviours in order to increase safety to adult and child survivors.

Leila also writes specialist domestic abuse risk assessments for family courts, providing expert reports to support safeguarding decisions.

Outside of work, Leila enjoys yoga, travelling and being with dogs!
