Rupert Bagenal
Implementation Lead (Safe and Together)
Rupert joined Respect in August 2025 as the Safe & Together Implementation Lead, a role he previously held between 2021 and 2023. He qualified as a social worker in 2014 and brings extensive experience from statutory children’s services.
In 2019, Rupert transitioned into the violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector, initially working as a social worker on a specialist domestic abuse pilot supporting children and families affected by domestic abuse. Since then, he has held a range of roles across local authorities and the charity sector, with a focus on training delivery, project management, service design, and systems change.
