Heather joined Respect in June 2025, bringing experience from working across the Criminal Justice, Probation, Substance Use, and Mental Health sectors. She has supported the delivery of behaviour change programmes within probation and later worked as a case manager with the Drive project, focusing on reducing harm and increasing safety for those affected by domestic abuse.

She values the importance of support in creating meaningful change and has seen how small steps can lead to positive outcomes for individuals and families.

Alongside her professional work, Heather has volunteered extensively in her community. She set up a small charity to support people experiencing homelessness, giving them access to haircuts, personal care items and clothing. This grew to welcome more members of the community during the pandemic.

Outside of work, Heather is a carer for her mother and enjoys spending time with her family, catching up with friends, and is happiest when taking care of her beloved bulldog and her plants.
