Drive Deputy Director

About the role

We are looking for a Drive Deputy Director to contribute to the leadership and management of the team in addition to building and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as individuals, corporate partners, public sector organisations, and charitable trusts. Your remit will also include working collaboratively with the Head of Programmes and Managers, to develop a growth and business development strategy for each of our four core areas of work.

Drive Head of Programmes

About the role

The Drive Head of Programmes will provide strategic leadership across our programmes, leading our Managers in the design and delivery of our programmes to ensure all our interventions are grounded in robust evidence and best practice, working to end domestic abuse and protect victims. You will hold accountability for programme performance, safeguarding and quality assurance whilst working closely with the Drive Head of Operations to ensure effective operational delivery is embedded our across programmes.

Respect Trustee (3 roles)

About the Trustee roles

As a Trustee, you’ll play an essential role in shaping Respect’s direction and impact. Working collectively with fellow trustees and the staff team, you’ll help ensure the organisation remains true to its mission of ending domestic violence, achieves its strategic objectives and maintains financial health and sustainability.

Trustees are responsible for setting the overall direction of the charity and working in partnership with the CEO and ELT, who oversee the organisation’s day-to-day operations and develop Respect’s strategic plans and budget for the Board’s consideration and approval.

We are seeking three trustees who can bring one of the following areas of specialism to the Board:

  • Domestic Abuse / VAWG Practice and Sector Insight
  • Charity Fundraising and Income Generation
  • Digital, Technology and Artificial Intelligence

Chair Trustee Role

As Chair, you will have the opportunity to shape and lead the future of a unique charity, working with other trustees, the CEO and the team, to help reach Respect’s goal of ending domestic abuse.

The Chair will play a pivotal role in guiding the Board and Executive Leadership Team through an evolving internal and external environment, ensuring strong governance, clear strategic direction and effective leadership so that Respect continues to deliver impact while maintaining organisational health and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Previous experience at Board level as Chair/Vice Chair
  • Exceptional senior, strategic leadership experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and consensus-building skills
  • Ability to provide independent judgement and constructive challenge
  • Commitment to Respect’s vision, values and to equity, diversity and inclusion

Project Manager

The Drive Project Manager will play a pivotal role within the Project Management Office (PMO), supporting the successful delivery of key work strands across the partnership. You will work closely with Respect, Safelives, Social Finance and external stakeholders to oversee commissioning contracts, support programme implementation, manage stakeholder relationships, and provide regular progress reports to commissioners.

Head of Centre for Excellence

Respect is the UK charity stopping perpetrators of domestic abuse. As part of our 2023–2028 Strategy, we are launching a new Centre for Excellence – a bold initiative to transform understanding of what works to end the perpetration of domestic abuse. Building on 25 years of innovation and leadership, the Centre will harness collective learning, foster collaboration beyond traditional partnerships, and create the evidence base for a radical shift in approach.

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic leader to shape and deliver this visionary initiative. You will set the strategic direction for the Centre for Excellence, and establish a sustainable delivery and funding model, and lead early implementation work. Acting as a visible leader across Respect and beyond, you will connect our existing expertise with the Centre’s mission, and build strong partnerships with members, the VAWG sector, academia, and other stakeholders.
