Joanna Szuryn
Project and Practice Lead, Make a Change
Joanna joined the Make a Change Team at Respect in 2021 and currently leads four regional Make a Change project sites.
Joanna has over a decade of experience in supporting survivors and perpetrators of domestic abuse, most recently promoting early response to adults causing harm in intimate relationships as part of a coordinated community response.
Joanna is also the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Opoka, a UK charity supporting Polish women and children affected by domestic abuse. She is a passionate advocate for social justice, anti-oppressive practice, disability justice, and public health.
