Respect would like to extend our thanks to Ippo Panteloudakis, Head of Services, as he leaves Respect after 22 years.
Ippo joined Respect to set up and operate the Respect Phoneline. Soon after, he relaunched the Men’s Advice Line and oversaw the growth of both helplines for many years. Ippo later took on additional responsibilities as Operations Director and, in more recent years, he focused on supporting and professionalising the perpetrator work sector.
Respect’s accreditation standards were Ippo’s top priority. The fourth edition, published in 2022, placed the integrated support service (ISS) for victims and survivors at the heart of perpetrator work. Membership and training services were also Ippo’s priorities – key drivers were to increase the quality of services offered to Respect’s members and develop a training programme that meets their needs.
Ippo has made a significant contribution over his many years at Respect and we wish him well for the future.
An Interim Head of Services has been appointed and our training and membership services will continue as normal.
